The most noteworthy giant sequoia tree is the General Sherman, standing as the biggest on earth. General Sherman stands supreme at 274.9 ft. tall and is over 100 feet around. This makes his volume an awe-inspiring 52,508 cubic feet. That is larger than a 26-story-building. General Sherman is estimated to be 2,700 years old and counting.
