I’m not exactly a tree hugger, but I have always wanted to reduce my dependence on oil. I like the idea of saving money, and oil is not cheap. Let me start off by saying I’m not the person people go to if they need to have something made. That is why I liked this system so much. I’m not very handy, but even I could open up the instructions and see how the wind turbines and solar panels were supposed to be made. I went through the step by step instructions and I could tell what I had to do in each step.
Price was another big thing for me. I’m all for saving the world, but only if I can do it for less than $200. It’s not that I don’t care about global warming, but I really just don’t have the money to spend on expensive eco friendly products. I flipped over to the section into the book about the parts I needed to build the panels and turbine. They told me how to get the parts in the cheapest way possible, and it worked.
